National Telehealth Car Seat Call Center
Due to COVID-19 we now apply car seat sessions using telehealth, a patient-direct, remote, safe and effective interactive health education approach, for car seats. We have applied and tested this method since 2018 to assist with parents who have went into delivery before their due date and need immediate car seat assistance before being discharged from the hospital. This method has been evaluated and shown to be effective as part of the Occupant Protection section of the California Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP).
Our telehealth approach is the same as if we were with you in person. Actually we are, but just virtually. Our goal is to educate and empower you as the parent and driver to ensure you understand how to install, test and use your car seat safety, in the best interest of your child. Please call 323-491-6197 for immediate assistance. |

When you miss family and friends who live outside of your home, have a virtual experience to visit and for celebrations in 2021
As cases of Covid-19 continue to increase, celebrate and visit virtually with family and friends who live outside of your home. Even as vaccines are being administered, to help prevent the spread we must all practice public health measures, until there is full population immunity worldwide. Likely this will continue through the end of 2021.
Some Things, Such As Life, You Cannot Take Back. You Have Control and a Choice, Please Visit Those You Love and Value, Virtually Not In Person
Protect yourself now. Yes we all miss family and friends. But even if they have been at home with no symptoms, they can be a carrier of Covid19 and not be aware. Once that carrier is within contact of others is where the virus transmits in order to survive. There have been many cases where family and friends have gotten together. All were healthy. Then suddenly. It is not worth the risk. Please visit virtually.
