Your Responsibility Code
The following are 7 points to "Your Responsibility Code", from the National Ski Areas Association (NSAA). In addition to recommending following Your Responsibility Code, the NSAA also recommends wearing a helmet, becoming educated including lessons and learning about responsibility on the mountain that you ride, respecting to others, and having common sense while riding down the mountain. Violation of local ski resort policies may involve suspension of skiing, snowboarding or snow tubing privileges, revocation of season pass, personal injuries or property damage and regulatory fines and legal fees. Ride safe and have fun! The NSAA website also provides various safety programs and information to protect skiers and riders while on the slopes.
