Infant Hip Health-The First 3 MonthsThe International Hip Dysplasia Institute (IHDI) recommends healthy hip positioning during the first three months of age for infants carried in baby carriers, car seats, swings, walkers and other equipment, including during swaddling. Healthy hip positioning is when the baby's hips are allowed to spread apart with their thighs supported and the hips bent. Select the diagram for more information from IHDI.
